We do not consider this Spiritualist Center to be a club; we are a family of like-minded individuals. We welcome you to our Church Family with positive energy and open arms. We encourage you to question, test, explore and know our principles for yourself.
Please consider becoming a part of our growing family. There is no cost to become a member of the New Vision Spiritualist Center. To become a member, just fill out an application; applications for adults can be down loaded at the bottom of this page. Membership is open to everyone; those under the age of 18 are called Junior members (ask for a special application).
Membership applications are reviewed and approved once a month by the Church Board of Directors. Once your membership is approved, and you have received the Right Hand of Fellowship,you can vote at our membership meetings. When you are offered the Right Hand of Fellowship, you will be asked these 5 questions from the NSAC Spiritualist Manual:
- Have you tested to the satisfaction of your own mind, the sublime truth of spirit communication and accepted it as a means for the upliftment of humanity?
- Do you promise, in so far as it lies in your power, to conform to your highest conception of right, morality and honor?
- Will you aid and assist your suffering fellow humankind by supplying their physical needs, so far as you can without injury to yourself or family and by giving them such spiritual consolation as may be yours to impart whenever proper opportunity offers?
- Will you cheerfully contribute your just and rightful share toward the support of this Church and do all that you can reasonably, to promote harmony among its friends and members and to make its influence a source of good in this community?
- Do you affirm your acceptance of and belief in, the Declaration of Principles of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches and do you promise to obey all the rules and regulations enjoined by the Bylaws of said association, and of this Church?
Many people find when they have a need to seek knowledge about the unseen side of life, when a loved one passes to the next level of consciousness or when they are attracted to a specific event they seek answers. Some members have been turned off by other religions' approach to doom and gloom and find peace in the science, philosophy and religion of Spiritualism.
Whatever your reason; we welcome you with open arms into our fellowship and invite you to join as a member.
